“My name is Daniele Martinelli, today I manage Barona Brewery, a brewery set up in Milan in 2016. I al brewster, too. I contacted Simatec beer plants after a long selection of other Italian companies in the sector, and although we started our collaboration at the time of Simatec’s expansion, our relationship was well beyond my expectations. From the accurate project made with Davide Z. to the commercial aspect dealt with by Salvatore S. both professionals in the sector. Overall I would rate 9/10. The system that I purchased is a 6hl brewhouse with steam pressure heating with 5 fermenters with jacket cooling system with isobaric feature. Excellent materials were used, perfect welding and fluid circulation curves well done. In 4 years of operation almost no need for maintenance. Extraction efficiency between 85% and 89%. Simple and intuitive machine. To improve for 1/10 of my evaluation the technical consultancy during the choice of accessories to the production cycle …. but mine was a low budget project so I still feel satisfied.”

It has, in fact, revolutionised our brew days and has had a measurable impact on profitability. Following final commissioning, we have found the brewhouse to be intuitive to use, reliable and consistent with more than enough automation to allow us to focus on other tasks whilst giving us the ability to manually control every step should we wish to. “New SIMATEC brewhouse named TOP MODULAR is a true concentration of efficiency and robustness. After about 3 months from start-up, considering necessary initial settings we were stunned by the precision and working efficiency of wort extraction, the efficiency of filtration, the precision during different production and the final wort cleaning. All this was already reflected in our beer which had a remarkable sensory improvement. A note for the technicians is that we have reduced the amount of hops kilograms used in boiling by 10% with a good saving per brew batch on IPA recipe, greatly increasing hop taste and aroma. We can say to be satisfied with the Simatec plant.”
